DR. ADOYI MATTHEW OMALE

Dr. Adoyi Matthew Omale is a Nigerian and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc) in International Studies, Master of Science Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, M.SC in Political Science and a Ph.D. in Political Economy and Development Studies.

Dr. Omale has working experiences in several organizations notably Director at the People Democratic Institute, PDI, Abuja, Where he co-ordinated several international and national programmes notable among them was his prominent role as a Member Presentation of Report of the Presidential Committee on Review of 1999 Constitution North-Central Zone 2001, Party Formation and organization, Training Workshop for Revolutionary United Front Party of Sierra Leone in 2001 this is a presidential consultancy on the De-militarization of RUF rebels of Sierra- Leone by then president Olusegun Obasanjo administration in 2006, National Workshop for Board Chairmen and Members of Federal Parastatals and Agencies 2002, National workshop for National Assembly Members 2003, Brainstorming session between PDI and Syrian Bath Arab Socialist Party 2006 amongst others.

He was former Chairman of Ogbadibo Local Government area of Benue State and former Head of Department of International Relation at Baze Universityand Diplomacy at Baze University, Director Research and Programmes Ubuntu Centre for Africa Peace Building and Development and currently a senior Lecturer at Department of International Relations and diplomatic studies Ave – Maria University Piyanko, Nassarawa State, at Ave – Maria University, Dr. Omale also serve as Director Public Affairs and linkages.

Dr. Omale also is an adjunct lecturer at the department of Public Policy and administration Miva Open University Abuja and Part Time course facilitator at the department of Political Science and International Relations at the National Open University Abuja He has published in many international and Local Journals and has attended several local and international conferences. Dr. Omale is regular analyst and commentator on contemporary international and political issues on several television and radio stations and devote a lot of time to community service. His area of specialization includes International Economic Relations and diplomacy, Development studies, Peace and conflict and global security.

Dr. Omale is a Fellow Certified institute of Management, Associate fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration, Associate fellow Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria, A member of Nigeria Political Science Association and a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Diplomacy and several other professional bodies. He He is also an entrepreneur and Business man as the managing Director/CEO of Diamluste Ventures and currently Secretary General Nigeria-Morocco Commerce and Development Forum, Dr Omale is married with children.
